Lowestoft – Appeal after suspected arsons

Police are appealing for witnesses after two suspected arsons in Lowestoft.

Officers were called to reports of a small suspicious fire on Wednesday 16 September at 1:15pm at the public toilet block in the cemetery, Gateway Lodge, Rotterdam Road.

The fire was quickly extinguished by the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was injured.

A second suspected arson took place at the same location on Sunday 13 September,

Officers are appealing for witnesses and ask that anybody who saw anybody behaving suspiciously in the vicinity to contact Lowestoft police quoting reference 37/54608/20
