Lowestoft - appeal after man threatened

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened by a teenager in Lowestoft.

The incident occurred at some point between 4pm and 4:20pm on Monday 22 November on London Road North.

A man in his 40s was walking along the road near the Britten Centre when he was approached by an unknown male teenager who shouted at him, spat in his direction and threatened him with what was believed to be a knife.

The victim walked away but was followed by the suspect for a short time.

The suspect is described as white and was wearing a blue hoodie with jeans.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a male matching this description around the time of the incident, or anyone with information that may assist with enquiries. Those with information are asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting reference 37/66119/21 via:
