Lowestoft - appeal after man chased

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was chased by an unknown male in Lowestoft.

The incident occurred at some point between 3pm and 3:15pm on Saturday 31 July.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking along Mill Road when he was approached by an unknown male who attempted to engage in conversation with him. As the victim made to walk away, the suspect is reported to have produced a knife. The victim has then run to KFC at Marine Parade where staff called police. He was not hurt in the incident.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 6ft in height and wearing a green T-shirt with shorts.
