Ipswich – Robbery at betting shop

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a betting shop in Ipswich last week. 

The incident occurred between 5pm and 5.15pm on Thursday 15 July at Betfred in Carr Street. 

A man entered the premises and after being inside for a short while, he went behind the counter and threatened staff before making off with an amount of cash. 

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was inside the shop between 4.45pm and 5.15pm, or who was in Carr Street during the same timeframe and saw anyone acting suspiciously. 

The suspect is described as black, approximately 6ft tall and was wearing a grey Le Coq Sportif hooded top.
