Ipswich robbery appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that took place in Ipswich.
 
It happened at some point between 2am and 3am on Wednesday 12 August on the junction of Bramford Road and Benezet Street.
 
Two male suspects attacked a male, aged in his late 40s from behind, and used force to steal his black leather rucksack containing electrical items worth in the region of £750. These included a Black Lenova laptop, a black i-phone and a Samsung Note 8. The victim’s green Stone Island jacket was also taken.
 
During the incident the victim sustained bruising caused to victim’s left eye and also a deep two inch cut to his right thumb.
 
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw any suspicious behaviour or has knowledge of who committed it should contact Ipswich CID quoting crime reference 37/47244/20.
