Ipswich – Four males arrested following altercation

Police have arrested four males following an altercation in Ipswich.

The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning on Monday 27 July in Surrey Road, when a group of males were involved in an altercation.

Officers attended the scene and four males aged, 23, 30, 24 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

A knife was also recovered from the scene.

All four males were subsequently released on bail until 23 August 2020.

Officers would be keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have captured any relevant CCTV footage during the early hours of Monday morning.
