Ipswich - Four arrested for drug offences

Officers executed a drugs warrant at an address on Burrell Road in the town, yesterday Tuesday 27 April and recovered more than 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, approximately £2000 cash, mobile phones and a number of bladed items.

A man in his 40s, two men in their 20s all from Ipswich, and a 16 year old boy from London were arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drugs and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. The man in his 40s was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The three men have been released under investigation and the teenage boy has been bailed to return to police on 25 May, whilst enquires continue.

The force wants to ensure the county remains a hostile environment for those involved in the supply of drugs and provide reassurance to Suffolk residents. Our local communities have an important role to play in this too. Don’t turn a blind eye. Talk to us about your concerns and we will work together to resolve the issue.
