Ipswich – CCTV image issued following wallet theft

Police are issuing a CCTV image of a male they would like to speak to after a wallet was stolen in Ipswich.

The incident occurred at some point between 4pm and 4.15pm on Friday 13 August in Aldi in Meredith Road.

While shopping within the supermarket, a customer dropped their wallet without realising. It was then picked up a short time later by a male who did not attempt to return it to the customer or alternatively, leave it with staff before leaving.

The wallet contained an amount of cash, bank cards and a driving licence.
 
Officers would like to speak to the male pictured in the CCTV image as he may be able to help with the investigation.
