Ipswich – assault appeal
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Ipswich.
The incident occurred at around 3am on Tuesday 14 June at Old Cattle Market bus station.
A man aged in his 50s was involved in an altercation with a group of people before he was assaulted by three men.
Following the verbal altercation, a man punched the victim, causing him to fall to the floor, before two other men also assaulted the victim.
The victim was sent to Ipswich Hospital having suffered a fractured eye socket.
