A motorist has died in a road traffic collision at Stratford St Mary.

Police were called at 7.47pm on Monday 2 August 2021 to a report of a single vehicle collision on the A12 northbound carriageway at Stratford St Mary, at the junction of the B1068.

A silver Skoda Fabia was involved and the driver, a woman in her 20s and the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene

The road was closed whilst officers conducted initial enquiries into the collision and to clear the road. The road reopened at about  5.45am this morning (Tue 3 Aug)

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage that captured the collision to come forward and contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit,  quoting CAD ref 343 of 2 August 2021.
