Bury St Edmunds - Four arrested in connection with drug offences


Police have arrested four people in connection with drug offences in Bury St Edmunds.
The arrests took place yesterday (Tuesday 15 Sept) yesterday afternoon. Officers spotted a vehicle being driven in the Lake Avenue area. The vehicle stopped and two occupants left the vehicle to meet two other people, a man and a woman. 
When officers approached the group one fled on foot and was pursued into a property on Lake Avenue. All four were suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. A 24 year old man, a 45 year old man, a 24 year old and a 36 year old woman were all taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
