Appeal following incident in Bungay

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Bungay.

At approximately 8am on Monday, 13 September, an 18-year-old woman was waiting at a bus stop on St Mary's Street, near Boots, when she was approached by a man.

The man asked her a number of questions which she answered, before reportedly making inappropriate comments, grabbing hold of her hand and kissing it repeatedly. The victim has then walked away from the bus stop.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his 50s, of slim build with broad shoulders, bald with stubble on his face. He was wearing thin wire glasses, a black puffer jacket and blue jeans, and is believed to have spoken with an Eastern European accent.
