Appeal after teenager approached - Lowestoft

Police are appealing for information after a 14-old-girl reported being approached by a man on a bicycle in Lowestoft.

The incident happened around 9:30pm on Tuesday 12 September. The girl was walking alone in St Peters Street when she first became aware of a man on a pushbike looking at her. He followed her for a short time before dropping his bike and chasing her through a carpark near Water Lane.

The teenager ran into a business premises where police were called.
 
Police would like to speak to the man, who is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall and who has light brown hair which is short at the back and sides but longer on top and slicked back. He was wearing a black, leather blazer-style jacket with dark jeans and was carrying a blue Adidas rucksack.
