Man charged with Ipswich theft and burglary

 A man has been charged in connection with theft and burglary in Ipswich. 

 A man was arrested Tuesday 28 April in the Great Blakenham area and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
 
35 year old Levi Hilden of Birkfield Drive in Ipswich was subsequently charged with theft and burglary.
 
It follows an incident on 31 December 2018 when a burglary took place at a property on Meadowlands in Kirton where items upto the value of £4,000 including 10 ornaments, ladies watches and $1,000 dollars were stolen.
 
 An incident of theft also took place on 15 July 2019 in Ipswich where jewellery was stolen, in the region of £5,000, from a premises in Upper Brook Street in Ipswich.
 
 He was remanded and appeared before Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday (29 April) where he pleaded not guilty to the Kirton incident. A guilty plea was entered for the Upper Brook street theft. He has been remanded pending a further hearing at Ipswich Crown Court.
