Oulton Broad - Appeal following serious assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft.

The incident occurred at 3.10pm on Wednesday 24 June in Nicholas Everitt Park in Bridge Road.

The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was sitting in the park near the water sports centre, when three males approached him and assaulted him.

As a result of the incident, the victim sustained serious injuries including two broken eye sockets and a broken nose. The victim attended hospital and received treatment.

The three suspects left the scene and were witnessed getting into a vehicle.

Anyone who has knowledge of the incident or saw any suspicious activity in the area should contact Lowestoft CID, quoting crime reference 37/35407/20.
