Kesgrave - Appeal after sparrowhawk shot with air powered weapon

Police are appealing for information after a sparrowhawk was found to have been shot in the leg with an air powered weapon.

The injured bird was found in Bell Lane, Kesgrave on 11 January and taken to an owl sanctuary for treatment. Sadly the bird had to be euthanised due to the extent of the injuries. The incident was recently reported to police.
