Ipswich - Missing teenager located

Police can confirm that a missing 16-year-old teenage girl from Ipswich has been found.

Sherrie Pooley was located in the town at around 4pm yesterday, Tuesday 1 October.

Officers would like to thank the public and media for their assistance with this appeal.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager from Ipswich and are renewing appeals for help to locate her.

Sherrie Pooley, aged 16, was last seen in the town at around 1.15am on Thursday 26 September and she was reported missing to police shortly before 8am the same day.

Sherrie is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of small build, with a tanned complexion, brown eyes and with blue shoulder length braided hair. She was wearing a navy jumper, navy jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Anyone who may have seen her or know of her whereabouts should contact Suffolk police on 101.

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing teenager from Ipswich.
