Two charged with Ipswich drug offences

Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with drug offences in Ipswich.
 
Officers had reason to attend a property on Peterhouse Close in the town on Thursday evening and arrested two males on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
 
Both males were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
 
22 year old Logan Burnett of no fixed abode was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine  and possession of cannabis between January and May this year.
 
23 year old Ben Taylor of Bull Road in Ipswich was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between January and May this year.
 
Both were remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Saturday 23 May. Ben Taylor pleaded guilty and was remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on a date to be fixed, while Logan Burnett also pleaded guilty and was also remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
