Brandon - Appeal after man is injured

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after an incident in Brandon.

Officers were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at around 00:30am in the early hours of today Thursday 25 June to reports of an injured man at an address on Bury Road.

The man had sustained facial injuries and police are investigating the circumstances of what may have happened to him.

The victim required hospital treatment but he has now been released home.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident but he has now been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

Anybody who witnessed an assault in the vicinity of Bury Road late last night are asked to contact Bury St Edmunds police quoting reference 35217/20
