Felixstowe – Appeal after arson incident

Officers are appealing for witnesses after an arson in Felixstowe.

The incident took place yesterday, Friday 24 April on Orford Road in the town sometime before 7:25am. Suffolk Fire and Rescue and Police were called to a fire in a residential property which was quickly extinguished. The building was evacuated and nobody was reported injured.

It is now believed that an accelerant was used to deliberately start the fire and officers are continuing to investigate the arson.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious or who has any information are asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting reference 37/22871/20.
