Lowestoft – CCTV images issued following assault

Police are issuing CCTV images of a group of individuals they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Lowestoft.

The incident occurred at around 7.30pm on Monday 13 January outside The Britten Centre.

The victim – a man aged in his 30s – was sitting in the area smoking a cigarette when a group of young people approached him.

A male member of the group then asked him for a cigarette and the man gave him one but when he did so, he was assaulted by the group.

As a result of the incident, the man sustained minor injuries.

Officers would like to speak to the individuals pictured in the CCTV images about this incident as they may be able to help with the investigation.
