Burglary – Thorndon and Mickfield

Police are appealing for information following two burglaries last Monday, 16 December.

A home in The Street Thorndon was broken into sometime between 8.30am and 9pm.  Entry was gained by forcing and smashing the patio doors.  An untidy search was undertaken throughout the property.  The offender(s) have drawn the curtains and turned on the lights.  Were you in the area during these time frames and noticed the curtains open or closed?

In the nearby hamlet of Mickfield a home on Stonham Road was broken into.  This occurred between 7.50am and 7pm.  A rear fence trellis was removed and damaged to access the rear of the property.  Entry was gained by forcing the patio doors.  A search took place and items were stolen.
