Beccles sex assault appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of sexual assault that took place in Beccles.

It happened on Saturday 19 October at about 1.30pm at Gresham Road in the town close to Tesco’s. 

A group of five to seven teenage boys were in the area and they were walking alongside a mother, aged in her early 30s, and her child when one of the males put his arm out and hit the female on her arm. He then groped her right breast causing her alarm and distress.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of who the offender was should contact Beccles police, quoting crime reference 37/63925/19.
