Bungay assaults witness appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to two incidents that took place in Bungay.

The two incidents took place on Tuesday 2 July at the playing field next to the Bungay Medical Centre on St John’s Road at about 5.30pm.

A 15 year old  boy was approached by a group and assaulted causing facial injuries of a bleeding nose and bruising. The second incident at the same time saw a second male, aged 14, also assaulted by the group  sustaining bruising and swelling to his left eye and left cheek. The victim's phone was also cracked.

Anyone who has information about the incident should contact police quoting crime reference 37/38395/19 for the first incident and 37/38394/19 for the second.
