Lowestoft – Appeal after ship’s log is stolen from museum

Officers are appealing for witnesses or information after a burglary in Lowestoft.

The incident took place on Royal Plain in the town sometime around 5:20am on Saturday 11 May. It is reported that two male offenders forced entry to door of the Minicarlo Museum Ship and then smashed the bridge door window. The valuable ship’s log (a navigation instrument made of brass and wood) was stolen and a life raft was damaged.
