Felixstowe – Appeal to trace pedestrian involved in collision

Police are urgently appealing for help to trace a pedestrian who is reported to have been involved in a collision in Felixstowe.

The incident occurred at around 7.15am this morning, Tuesday 19 November, in Candlet Road.

The driver of an Audi Q7 initially believed that they had struck a bird with their wing mirror, but after stopping further along the road they were informed by the driver following behind that they had struck a pedestrian who was dressed in dark clothing.

Police were called and the area searched, but the pedestrian has not been located. Officers are keen to trace this person to check on their welfare.

The pedestrian, or anyone with information about this incident, is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Police Headquarters by emailing Sgt Ditcham or calling 101 and quoting CAD 39 of 19 November.
