Arrest made after Ipswich robbery

Police have made an arrest in connection with a robbery in Ipswich.
 
It follows an incident at the Springs convenience store on Spring Road on Saturday 13 April at about 9.25pm where three offenders entered the store and assaulted a member of staff and stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash. 
 
Officers made an arrest of a 35 year old man on Monday 15 April in the town on suspicion of robbery, cultivation of cannabis and failing a roadside drug test. He was taken to Marltesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning
 
He was subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries until Monday 13 May.
