Indecent assault in Ipswich

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident where a woman was indecently assaulted in Ipswich.

It happened on Monday 16 October at just after midday on Back Hamlet.

The female victim, aged in her mid 30s, was walking home with her daughter when she noticed a male following her to the gates of Alexandra Park on Back Hamlet. When she looked behind the male touched her inappropriately on the body. The victim pushed him back and he was startled by another member of public walking past. He hid behind a car and wasn’t seen again.

He is described as slim, abut five foot, seven inches tall with collar length brown hair and was wearing a dark jacket with a dark rucksack.
