Ipswich – Missing teenager located

Police can confirm that a missing 16-year-old teenage girl from Ipswich has been found.

Chantel Swain was located in the town this morning (Wednesday 18 September).

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing teenager from Ipswich.

Chantel Swain, aged 16, was last seen in the town on Saturday 14 September and was reported missing to police at around 7.30pm the following day, Sunday 15 September.

Chantel is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of a medium build, with a tanned complexion, and with shoulder length blonde/pink hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing snake skin print trousers, a grey crop top, a black puffa jacket and wool shoes. Chantel is also described as having a Mancunian accent.

It is believed that Chantel may have travelled to the Preston, Lancashire area.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Chantel and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her or know of her whereabouts to contact Suffolk police on 101.
