Sudbury – Man found with serious injuries update

Detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of man with serious injuries in Sudbury can confirm that no third parties are being sought in connection with the incident.

At around 6.10am on Wednesday 15 May, a man, who is aged in his 40s, was found unconscious next to Sudbury Community Hub on Chilton Industrial Estate in Northern Road.

The man was taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Detectives can now confirm that his injuries were not as a result of an assault or third party involvement.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the discovery of man who was found with serious injuries in Sudbury this morning.

At around 6.10am today, Wednesday 15 May, a man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was found unconscious next to Sudbury Community Hub on Chilton Industrial Estate in Northern Road.

The man was taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries to try and establish how the man sustained his injuries.

He is described as having a medium build, is white, with very short dark hair, which is receding and a full dark beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black skinny jeans and black Adidas trainers

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man or been near the industrial estate on Northern Road between 6pm yesterday, Tuesday 14 May and 6am this morning, Wednesday 15 May, to make contact. This includes anyone driving nearby with dash cams fitted in their vehicles.
