Ipswich - Robbery at convenience shop

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a convenience shop in Ipswich.

The incident occurred at about 9.25pm on Saturday 13 April at Springs Convenience Store in Spring Road.

Three people entered the premises, assaulted a member of staff and stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash. The offenders were wearing beanie hats and scarves to obscure their faces.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who was in the vicinity of the incident between 9pm and 9.30pm on Saturday evening and saw anyone acting suspiciously, to make contact.
