Saxmundham – Image issued in burglary appeal

Saxmundham burglary

Police are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in Saxmundham.

The incident occurred between 5.30pm and 5.40pm on Thursday 23 May at a café in High Street.

A front door was forced open and an attempt was made to steal the till and a charity box from inside, but the offender was disturbed and left empty-handed.

Officers would like to trace the man in the photograph as he may be able to assist with their enquiries. He is described as aged in his 20s and with dark-coloured curly hair. He was wearing a grey short-sleeved top, light-coloured shorts, cream Nike trainers and a cap.
