Man arrested for burglary and robbery offences

Police have arrested a man in connection with burglary and robbery offences.

The 26-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on Wednesday, 12 June, and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where he was questioned for the following offences:

-    A burglary at Simon Shields Cars in Lower Farm Road, Great Bricett, which occurred at some point overnight on 4 and 5 April following which three vehicles were stolen. 37/19217/19
-    A home burglary at Howards Close, Gislingham which took place on 27 May, where two vehicles were stolen. 37/30128/19
-    A robbery at Ladbrokes, Nacton Road in Ipswich on 14 October last year where a quantity of cash was stolen. 37/59436/18

He was also arrested in connection with a robbery at Betfred on London Street in Norwich on 1 July last year, where a quantity of cash was stolen.

He has subsequently been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
