Appeal to Ipswich firearms incident

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place in Ipswich.

It took place at Ransomes Europark near The Havens on 4 March 2020 at about 5.45am. Two males had an altercation after a near miss road traffic collision. During the altercation one of the males pulled out what was described as a hand gun from his car and pointed it towards the other male who was aged in his 20s. No-one one hurt in the incident.
 
Officers attended and subsequently arrested a 40 year old man on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent and was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
 
He was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
