Man charged with attempted GBH after Lowestoft incident

Police have charged a man with grievous bodily harm  in Lowestoft.
 
It follows an incident in the town on Norwich Road on Sunday 10 November in the afternoon where a male victim, aged 30 was in collision with a red Land Rover Discovery.
 
The vehicle has then collided with a newsagent causing damage to a door.
 
The victim, who was taken to the James Paget hospital for treatment, sustained minor injuries which included cuts to his hands and pain to his head.
 
A man was subsequently arrested shortly after the incident and taken to Great Yarmouth Police investigation Centre for questioning
 
32 year old Duane Manchester of Larch Road in Lowestoft was subsequently charged with attempted GBH and criminal damage.
 
He appeared before Ipswich magistratres court on Tuesday 12 November where he was remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court at a date to be fixed.
