Stone crest taken from Badley church

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of theft that took place in Badley.

A carved stone crest from a memorial was stolen from St Marys Church in Badley.

It took place at some point between sometime between Saturday 1 June and Saturday 7 September.

Two metal rods that held it in place on the memorial were left twisted. The crest is estimated to be worth in the region of £1000.

Anyone who has knowledge of the incident, or the whereabouts of the crest should quote crime reference 37/54054/19.
