Ipswich - Three arrested for drug offences
Police have arrested a man, a woman and a teenage girl in connection with drug offences in Ipswich.
Following intelligence reports received officers forced entry to a property on Woodbridge Road in the town on Saturday 11 May. A quantity of what is thought to be uncut Class A drugs and wraps of heroin and crack cocaine were found inside. In addition a large machete type knife and a quantity of cash were also recovered by police.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. In addition, a 21-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. All three were brought to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre to be questioned and have now been released under investigation whilst enquires continue.
