Robbery in Ipswich

Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Ipswich yesterday.

The incident took place in Alexandra Park in the town at around 1.30pm on Wednesday 11 October. A sixteen year old boy walking through the park was grabbed around the neck from behind and brought to the ground.

At least three offenders then assaulted the boy, kicking him in the head and body and demanding that he hand over property. The suspects stole £5 and a iPhone lightning charger. The victim sustained minor injuries

The first suspect is described as a white teenage boy, 5 feet 11 inches tall, small build with blond hair who was wearing a grey coat and spoke with a foreign accent. The second suspect is described as a black teenager, 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build who was wearing a black coat and had his face covered. The third suspect is described as a black man, aged between 18-20 years of age, around 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing all black clothing and a black balaclava.
