Man charged with Sudbury robbery

Police have arrested and charged a man with a robbery that took place in Sudbury. 
 
Officers made an arrest in Doncaster yesterday (Thursday 11 June) of a man on suspicion of robbery.
 
It follows a robbery at 5.30pm on 18 December 2019 where handbags containing jewellery, an i-phone, keys and other personal property were taken from a man and woman on Quay Lane in Sudbury who were placing the items into their parked car.

The male was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. 

29 year old Stuart Bocock of Thorntondale Road in Doncaster, South Yorkshire was this evening (Friday 12 June) charged with robbery and possession of pointed/bladed article – namely an axe.

He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday 13 June) at 10am.
