The incident happened on Wednesday 3 April at a property on Mill Lane at about 4pm. It was reported that a patio door from the conservatory into the property at the rear has been smashed.
Once inside the rooms have been searched with cupboards and drawers opened.  It is thought a nine carat gold engagement ring with a large white diamond in the centre was stolen.
