Two arrests in connection with Lowestoft drug offences

Two people have been arrested in connection with drug offences in Lowestoft.
 
Officers conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on a property Spashett Road  yesterday (Tues 11 February).

A search of the property was conducted with a quantity of suspected class A (cocaine) and class B (cannabis) drugs recovered, along with various items of drug paraphernalia.

Around £1,500 worth of suspected cocaine was recovered and approximately £500 worth of suspected cannabis was recovered.

Two people, a man aged 46 and a woman aged 40, were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Both were released under investigation pending further enquiries.
