Felixstowe – Appeal following assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after three people were assaulted in Felixstowe.

The incident occurred at around 10.15pm on Monday 8 July on the junction with Langer Road and Buregate Road.

Two people – a man and a woman aged in their 20s – were walking through Langer Park towards Buregate Road with their dog, when they were assaulted by a group of young males and females.

Another member of the public – a woman aged in her 40s – tried to intervene but she was also assaulted.

The group then ran into Langer Park and the police were called. Officers attended but the group of people could not be located.

An ambulance was called and one person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

One of the members of the group is described as female, around 14 years of age, with long blonde hair and of a slim build. She was wearing jeans and a grey top.
