Ipswich - Appeal after robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a robbery in Ipswich.
The incident took place at approximately 6:30pm, Sunday 6 October, on Portman Road in the town.
A teenage boy walking with a friend near to Crescent Road was approached by three males. Offenders grabbed the victim, demanded his mobile telephone and made threats. The offenders made off with the mobile phone in the direction of the junction with Handford Road.
The first suspect is described as around 14 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a tanned complexion, skinny build with black spiky hair, and was wearing a black bomber jacket and dark jeans. The second male is thought to be approximately 18 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a tanned complexion, skinny build and was wearing a dark and light coloured jumper with the hood up. The third suspect is described as around 12 years of age, 4 feet 7 inches tall with a tanned complexion, skinny, black hair with a ponytail, and was wearing grey and black jeans and a black jumper or coat.


Police are asking that witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage in the area of Portman Road and Handford Road between 6:20pm and 6:40pm on Sunday 6 October to contact officers quoting reference 60728/19, via
