Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Ipswich that happened on Downside Close on Saturday 7 September at about 6.30pm.

It was reported that a male was seen in a nearby wooded area wearing what was described by a group of children as a ‘pig mask’. He was gesturing towards the children and asking them to come over. The male was then seen to leave the area in a white transit style van but no index number was seen. No children were touched and no-one hurt.

Anyone who has similar reports of such an incident is asked to contact police, quoting crime reference 37/54088/19.
