Ipswich – Appeal following attempted robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Ipswich.

The incident took place within Castle Hill Recreation Ground near Congreve Road at around 12.15pm on Saturday 6 July.

An 11-year-old boy was approached by two unknown males within the park. They then asked him if they could ride on his scooter and the boy declined. The two males became aggressive and verbally threatened him. The boy then ran away from the two males.
