Haverhill - Man charged after burglary

Police have charged a 20-year-old man in connection with a burglary in Haverhill.

The incident took place on Sunday 26 April at a property on Downton Drive in the town. A Samsung TV, games consoles, a samurai sword, an ornamental knife, a Bose speaker, camera equipment and cash were reported stolen to police.

Steaven Middleditch, of no fixed abode, was arrested on 3 May and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was subsequently charged with burglary.

He appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on 4 May and has been remanded in custody to appear before Ipswich Crown Court at a date to be arranged.
