Wherstead – Appeal after object thrown at vehicle on A14

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after an object was thrown from a bridge causing damage to a lorry that was travelling along the A14.

The incident occurred at around 11.45am on Tuesday 31 March on the A14, when a male threw an unknown object from the A137 Wherstead bridge, near Ipswich, onto the dual-carriageway below. The object broke the windscreen of a lorry that was travelling eastbound along the A14.

The offender is described as white and was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up.
