Appeal following theft in Leavenheath

Police are appealing for witnesses or information following the theft of fuel and batteries in Leavenheath.

The incident occurred at some point between 5.30pm on Tuesday 31 March and 9.30am on Wednesday 1 April at a property in Cawley Road on the outskirts of the village.

The offender/s forced entry into a locked and gated compound where they drained fuel from construction vehicles and stole two vehicle batteries.

Anyone with any information about this incident, who saw anything suspicious, or who has any dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/19250/20, via:
