Leiston – Appeal following incident of suspicious behaviour

Police are appealing for witnesses after a male was witnessed acting suspiciously in Leiston.

A 13-year-old boy was walking along Sizewell Road on Thursday 21 November at around 4pm when he became aware of a male walking behind him in the same direction.

The boy decided to quicken his pace and as he did so, the male who had caught up with him, reached for the boy’s arm. The boy moved out of the way and then ran away. The male did not say anything to him.

The boy was not physically touched but was left shaken by the incident.

The male is described as black, of average build and approximately aged between 20 to 30-years-old. He was wearing a silver reflective jacket with the hood up and with black jeans.
