Ipswich - Appeal following theft of gas canisters

Police are appealing for witnesses or information regarding a theft in Ipswich which took place earlier this morning Saturday 2 December.
 
The theft  took place at around 4.40am in the grounds of Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road. Twelve gas canisters containing concentrated nitrous oxide were stolen. The canisters are approximately 4 feet high, blue with a white stripe around the top. The suspects are believed to be four men who left the premises in a dark coloured hatchback car.
 
The canisters contain the anaesthetic gas nitrous oxide which could be harmful and potentially lethal if inhaled/ingested by members of the public.
 
Witnesses or anybody who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the canisters are asked to call Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference CAD 62 of today 2 December.
